When the word digital citizenship is used, many of us automatically think of it as a negative thing.  We think of all the troubles that are associated with internet use such as cyber bullying, hacking, and poor decisions made on social media.  However digital citizenship is in fact a very positive concept on how we conduct ourselves online.

Watch the below video and have a conversation with your child/ren about how they see their digital self when online.  Ask them: How do you respectfully and responsibly create and manage a positive personal digital presence? and What would other people think of you if they only knew you from your online presence?
