Tickets Now on Sale for Our Spring Musical (May 23 – 26th)

Our Musical Theatre Club is excited to present an original work, written by our own Mr. Martin, as our musical theatre production.  In Robin Hood: A Love Story? a group of grade 6 students decide to put on a little play and they decide to put on Robin Hood, an epic tale of adventure and, unbeknownst to Robin, a tale of romance!  Come and see Sherwood like you have never seen it before, complete with Disney Princesses, Wendy Darling,  a  crazy old narrator, Tinkerbell and of course, Prince John and his Army of Really Bad Mimes. This story celebrates that awkward age of adolescence, when we want to be grown up but we aren’t quite prepared for what it really means to be a grown up.  Really.  The hero is supposed to get the girl after all.  But what if he doesn’t really want one right now?  Does he still have to rescue her?

We need the support of our community to be able to continue offering this program at CNGS, so please come and buy a ticket or 2 and laugh along during this hilarious musical that will leave you smiling, tapping your toes and enjoying the exploits of Robin Hood and his band of recently Married Men!

Details about the tickets and the order form can be found on our school website!

inform | Remembrance Day Fundraiser for the Veterans’ Fund

From  November 3rd to 10th,  our school will be raising money for the Veterans Fund.
From the minds of Grade 9 Leadership Class, CNG is being challenged with a school puzzle! Located outside our gym is a large silhouette of a soldier divided into 33 parts, 1 part for each homeroom and 1 part for the Staff of CNGS. It is each homerooms job to fill the part assigned to them by raising $75 for the Veterans Fund. For every $10 raised over $75 target, your class will earn a poppy to add to the field the soldier is kneeling in.
Our soldiers persevere to make this world a better place, so let’s support their important work and do what we can to make our world a better place by being EPIC!!
If you are able to donate, please send in any donations starting next week!
